Tudor Day with textile historian Margo Singer

on Sunday 15th June 10am-3pm,  £26.

We are extremely excited to announce that we have planned a whole day for you to enjoy a host of Tudor experiences. We shall look at Tudor knitting and clothes of the 16th Century and sample the sort of food that Tudor folk may have eaten. We shall spin a yarn and make a Tudor black work pin cushion or lavender bag. Sit back and enjoy a guided tour -via a slide show- of Tudor life.

So if you fancy immersing yourself in Tudor life for a day then come along and find out Tudor ways and share your knowledge of Tudor life. To encourage you to come along and join in the fun, the day is just £26.

Felt Hat Making Workshop with Carol Mowl

We found a great way to spend Mothers day and made a wonderful array of felt hats. It is always amazing to see the transformation of the fleece into a 3-D form. Melanie brought along her own wooden hat block and successfully made a pink hat with a pale green leaf decoration on one side.

The next Felt Hat Making workshop for you to enjoy is on Saturday 2nd August 10am-3pm, £36.
